Brussels Based or Remote (6 Months)
As a Geopolitical Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our research and policy teams to contribute to geopolitical analysis, research, and advocacy efforts on behalf of unrepresented peoples and nations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international relations, geopolitical strategy, and human rights advocacy, while contributing to impactful projects that advance the rights of marginalized communities.
Responsibilities:
Conduct geopolitical research on issues affecting unrepresented and indigenous peoples, including international relations, human rights, and regional conflicts.
Assist in drafting reports, policy briefs, and strategic analyses for international organizations and stakeholders.
Support the preparation of advocacy materials and presentations for meetings and events.
Monitor developments in global politics, international law, and policy related to human rights, minority rights, and indigenous issues.
Assist in organizing workshops, events, and policy discussions, both virtual and in-person.
Provide support on special research and policy projects as assigned by the team.
Help maintain and update relevant geopolitical and policy databases and resources.
Qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g., International Relations, Political Science, Geopolitics, Public Policy).
Strong sensitivity to human rights and, in particular, minority and indigenous rights.
Solid understanding of geopolitical trends, international institutions, and policymaking processes.
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex geopolitical and policy information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French or other languages is an asset.
Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Web Developer Intern
As a Web Developer Intern, you will work closely with our communication and to assist in creating and maintaining engaging websites, digital content, and supporting the online presence of our NGO. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in web development, user interface design, and contribute to the digital strategy of an organization focused on human rights and minority representation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of the organization’s website and digital platforms.
- Support the communication team in creating and implementing interactive and engaging digital content for online platforms.
- Help develop, test, and deploy new website features and functionalities.
- Assist in ensuring the website’s responsiveness, user-friendly interface, and performance optimization.
- Conduct research on emerging web technologies to enhance the user experience and improve accessibility.
- Collaborate on special projects to improve the organization’s digital presence and contribute to web-related strategies.
Qualifications:
- Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g., Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, Information Technology, or similar).
- Familiarity with WordPress and Elementor.
- Basic understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX) best practices.
- Sensitivity to human rights and in particular, minority and indigenous rights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy while working on complex tasks.
