Work with us
Here are the opportunities to join UNPO’s mission and contribute to the rights of unrepresented nations and peoples. By joining our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in international affairs, human rights, and policy development while working alongside experts dedicated to justice and self-determination. Explore how you can be part of our efforts to create lasting change.
Staff Positions
Like many organizations in our sector, UNPO is feeling the impact of global funding cuts, which means we are not able to grow our core staff team right now. Still, we are committed to opening doors and building pathways for people who want to grow with us. Most of our staff opportunities are filled by individuals who first joined UNPO as interns—starting with a six-month unpaid internship, followed by a one-year paid internship, which serves as a way to learn, contribute, and gradually step into larger responsibilities.
Whenever possible, we give preference to candidates from unrepresented communities, whether they are part of our membership or not, as we believe those perspectives are vital to our work. From time to time, for specific projects, we also team up with specialized consultants who bring in extra expertise.
