East Turkestan: Uyghur Diaspora Finally Receive “Proof of Life” Videos from Loved Ones

Family members of Uyghurs who have been detained in China’s re-education centers recently received video calls from the latter. Some of them had lost contact for years. The video calls follow a vast campaign #MeTooUyghur lead by Uyghur diaspora, where families of detainees demanded proof of life from the Chinese Communist Party.
