The first world congress of the Crimean Tatars has been closed. A declaration was passed proclaiming the creation of an international non-governmental organization: the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars
Simferopol closed the first world congress of the Crimean Tatars, involving delegates from 162 non-governmental organizations from 12 countries.
The participants in the congress passed a declaration proclaiming the creation of an “international non-governmental organization - the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars, as a body uniting and coordinating the efforts of the Crimean Tatar NGOs, which were created in different countries and expressed their desire for mutual cooperation.”
It was decided that the central office of the World Congress of the Crimean Tatars would be located in Crimea.
