Crimean Tartars: Rally Outside Ukrainian Parliament

The Crimean Tatars [rallied] opposite the building of the Ukrainian parliament on Monday [18 May 2009], on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatars.
Around a hundred people formed a human chain on a pavement alongside Hrushevskoho Street. They hold banners with the slogans "Shame to the Ukrainian Authorities," as well as Crimean Tatar flags with mourning ribbons.
The protesters are also shouting "Shame!"
There is also a group of the Crimean Tatars near the Cabinet of Ministers who went on hunger a week ago [11 May 2009], demanding that the problems of repatriates, including land issues, be resolved.
