Balochistan: Leader Calls for Nonviolent Approach

BNP (A) central leader Senator Syed Akbar Shah has said that the use of force could damage the reconciliatory process and political confidence in Balochistan.

Talking to local journalists here Thursday [31 July 2008], he said that deviation from the agreement on different issues concluded between the government and its political partners could harm the democratic process in the country.

He urged the PPP-led government to take into confidence the coalition partners in policy decision making process in order to strengthen the democratic norms and provide relief to poor masses in the county.
