UNPO condemns attack on the President and Vice-President of Taiwan
Message of the UNPO General Secretary to the Government of Taiwan after the attack on President Chen and Vice-President Lu
The Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organisation (UNPO)
expresses its solidarity to the Government of the Republic of China and condemns
the vicious attack on President Chen Shui-bian and Vice-President Annette Lu.
UNPO stays shoulder to shoulder with the Government of Taiwan and sympathizes with the families of the victims involved in this hideous attack and resentful act against fair elections and against freedom and democracy in Taiwan.
UNPO will continue its work to safeguard and promote the freedom and democracy of the Taiwanese people and its right to self-determination.
