Coronavirus: 3 Confirmed Cases in Abkhazia
As of 17 April 2020, there have been 3 reported cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia, one of whom is a 95 year-old man currently in self-isolation and is in a positve condition. The other two are at the Central Regional Hospital of Gudauta, also in a positive condition.

Sukhumi. April 16th. Apsnypress. The operational headquarters for protecting the population from coronavirus infection informed about the epidemiological situation on April 16.
The report said: “All three patients with a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus infection continue to receive the necessary medication. Two of them are in the Central Regional Hospital of the city of Gudauta, their condition with positive dynamics. A patient born in 1925 continues to remain on self-isolation, a state without negative dynamics.
Over the past day, 5 people have been tested. All of them had a coronavirus diagnosis that was not confirmed. ”
At the same time, the Operations Headquarters again appealed to citizens with a request to observe the state of emergency and not to leave their homes without urgent need.
