Peaceful Demonstration Against Human Rights Violations in Ambazonia

On Monday 1 October 2018, the UNPO and its Member organisation the Ambazonia Governing Council (AGC) will be holding a peaceful demonstration in Brussels, Belgium, to call for an end to the human rights violations currently perpetrated against Ambazonians. The region has been in an open conflict since 27 November 2017, when the Cameroonian government started a violent “counter-insurgency” operation after mass protests.

The peaceful march will begin at 11:00 in Square de Meeûs and finish at 14:00 Place Jean Rey, in Brussels. The event is expected to gather around 500 participants.
