The arbitrary arrests and enforced disappearances of Baloch activists by Pakistani forces continue unabated with eight more people being arrested and disappeared in the past few days from different areas of Balochistan.

On Friday 16 February, Pakistani forces carried out raids in several localities in Tump area of Kech district and harassed women and children during the unwarranted attack.

Two men named Abdul Karim and Rashid have been abducted from Malant Bazar area in Tump.

In another similar incident, Pakistani forces abducted two Baloch near a security forces check post in Talaar area of Dasht in district Kech Balochistan on Friday.

The victims have been named as Aslam son of Ometan and Makhdoom son of Pindok.

In another unwarranted attack, the Pakistani forces abducted Noor Jan son of Liaqat from a crowded market in Punjgor city of Balochistan.

Earlier on Wednesday, February 14, the Pakistan army and intelligence agencies have abducted two Baloch students from the main bazaar of Turbat city in Balochistan.

The abducted men have been named as Farooq son of Mullah Abdul Hameed and Hamza Saleh son of Saleh Mohammad resident of Kahn Post area of Turbat.

The Baloch students belonged to poor families and work in the city to support the expenses of their education.

Farooq worked in a medical store whereas Hamza worked in motorcycle mechanic shop in Turbat Bazaar.

Pakistani intelligence also abducted another Baloch from PIA hospital in Kech, Balochistan on 15 February 2018.

The abducted man has been named as Shabir son of Asa, a resident of Nalonj region of Zamuran Balochistan.

The relatives of abducted men have urged Human Rights organisation to play their role for safe release of their loved ones.

The whereabouts of all the above-abducted men remained unknown until the filing and submitting of this report.
