In June 2017, the Members of the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) gathered in Edinburgh, Scotland, for the organisation's XIII General Assembly.  Representatives of 25 unrepresented Nations and Peoples discussed the achievements of the past two years, present opportunities and challenges to be tackled in the future. UNPO also convened and participated in a series of events and activities during the month, in and outside Brussels, such as the European Parliament conference on Iraqi minorities, the UNPO Football Tournament, a roundtable interview on Human Rights in China, and rounds of advocacy meetings.
