Abkhazia: Foreign Affairs Ministry Sends Condolences to France after Attacks


In light of the recent [16 November 2015] terrorist attacks in Paris, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France expressing heartfelt condolences, conveying words of sympathy and solidarity to the French people and calling for international efforts to defeat terrorism.

Due to the unprecedented terrorist attack on Paris, which killed civilians, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia expresses its most sincere condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France and all the French people. This terrible tragedy is a direct evidence of inhuman nature of terrorism, against which is necessary to conduct a relentless struggle by combining efforts of the entire civilized world. In these tragic days the world voices words of solidarity and support of the citizens of France. We perceived this tragedy in our Republic with deep sorrow and grief. On behalf of the people of Abkhazia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia expresses it’s most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France and sends words of sympathy and solidarity to all citizens of the French Republic.
