Balochistan: Protest in Paris to Stop Bombardment in the Region

On 31 July 2015, a protest will take place in front of the French National Assembly in Paris. The protest is organized by the Baloch Voice Association, an International NGO based in France. The aim of the protest is to raise awareness of the situation of Baloch people since the region’s occupation by Pakistani forces, and of the human rights abuses people have suffered since the beginning of the current military operation in 2005. The Pakistani military is also responsible for the enforced disappearance of 18 000 persons, including students and human rights activists. The demonstration aims to protest against the bombardment in Balochistan. The protest will take place at Le Palais Bourbon, reachable with metro lines 8 and 13 (Invalides) and 12 (Assemblée nationale).
