Southern Mongolia: 28 Women Attend The Women’s National Congress


The women selected are representatives of North China’s Southern Mongolia at the Fourth Session of the Tenth Executive Committee Meeting of the Southern Mongolia Women's Federation.

Twenty-eight women from a wide range of backgrounds will represent north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at the Chinese Women's 11th National Congress. 

The women were elected at the Fourth Session of the Tenth Executive Committee Meeting of the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation, which was held in the region’s capital of Hohhot on July 3, 2013. 

Some of the women are farmers and herdswomen, while others work in education, technology, finance, politics and laws, economics, party and government offices. 

The 11th National Women's Congress will be held in Beijing in September 2013, to discuss Chinese women's development and other issues.
