The UN Development Programme (UNDP) will give a US$150 million development package to Myanmar under a three-year action plan, state-run newspaper The New Light of Myanmar reported on Tuesday.

The Country Programme Action Plan was signed between the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and the UN Assistant Secretary-General Ajay Chhibber in Naypyitaw on April 8.

The provision of the financial aid package comes as Myanmar resumed Normal Country Status under the UN's guidelines as of January 2013.
