During the next Session of the Congress, to be held at the end of August 2010, Parliament will discuss the Holding of an International 'Rights of the Crimean Tatars' Forum

The next session of the Kurultai (congress) of Crimean Tatars will be held on August 28-29, 2010.

A relevant decision was taken at a meeting of the Mejlis, the parliament of Crimean Tatars, the press service of the Mejlis informed.

In particular, during the next session of the Kurultai, it is planned to discuss the procedure for holding an International Forum on the resumption of the rights of Crimean Tatars to their motherland, the issue of ensuring Crimean Tatars with security and guarantees of their development in Ukraine.

The Mejlis formed a working group that would elaborate within three months and submit a draft procedure for holding the International Forum, and its agenda, to the parliament of Crimean Tatars, taking into account the results of previously held consultations with the representatives of various international organizations, diplomatic missions accredited in Ukraine, as well as PACE members and MPs of the European Parliament.
