Chittagong Hill Tracts: Indigenous Student Movement Demonstrate for Safe Roads and Justice for Rape Victims

The Association of Indigenous Students of Shahjala University of Science and Technology formed a human chain and rallied demanding safe roads and justice for rape victims of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The protests were triggered by an incident on 29 July 2018, where a bus crashed into a group of students killing two, as well as continuous ethnic violence against women committed with impunity.
