Iraqi Turkmen: UN Agencies Increase Efforts to Help Internally Displaced Persons

The World Food Program (WFP), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) have continued and increased attempts to deliver much needed emergency aid to estimated 1.5 million displaced people in Iraq.  These efforts have focused on providing food and emergency aid to Iraq’s most vulnerable people.
