Crimean Tartars: Association for Exiled Children

The Association of Crimean Tatar Villagers" will form another association for deported children, the establishment announced last week [May 4th to 8th].

It considers the new association as similar to "War's Children" organisation, the head of the villagers, Ibraham Voyyeniy said.

Crimean News Agency, QHA, said that the new association would include representatives of Tatars who were deported in time of World War Two and were exiled second time between 60s-70s.

Around 120 people are expected to register as members.

Voyenniy said that the association would struggle to gain legal status for exiled children and tı form bases of their social security.

Ukrainian cabinet approved on November, 2004, the necessity of social security for exiled children, QHA said.

"War's Children" non-governmental organisation were opened in 2005, according to QHA.

Deported children also gained their rights to build home in Crimean land that government gave and rights to free travel.
