Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza met the United States Consul General Kay L. Anske on Wednesday [24 September 2008] and discussed matters of mutual interest.

Mirza informed Anske about the facilities being provided to the masses and progressive packages and steps being taken to maintain peace across the province. They also exchanged views on the security being provided to American offices and nationals in Karachi.

The Sindh home minister has ordered the Sindh Inspector General of Police and Rangers Director General to provide foolproof security for the American consulate, currently under construction, and the American school situated on Maulvi Tamizuddin Road.
