The clerical regime's judiciary handed down 10 death sentences in the southwestern town of Ahwaz. "Ten people have been sentenced to be publicly hanged for forming the Mohi-al-Den al-Naser Battalion and for waging war against God and acting against national security," the state broadcasting corporation reported on its website on Tuesday.

These heinous sentences are meant as retaliation on the deprived people in Khuzestan Province, and especially in Ahwaz, which has been the scene of popular uprisings against the regimes suppressive policies.
The Iranian Resistance condemns the suppressive measures by the mullahs' regime and calls on international human rights organizations to take urgent action to prevent the hangings.
