Cabinda: Bishop Defends Dialogue to End Conflict


The Bishop of Angola's northern Cabinda province, Dom Paulino Madeka, defended today the importance of dialogue between the Government and the local representatives

The Bishop of Angola's northern Cabinda province, Dom Paulino Madeka, defended today the importance of dialogue between the Government and the local rebel factions, as the only way to put an end to the conflict in the oil rich region.

The prelate revealed that in agenda, he brought an exhibition of the situation in that territory, having outlined that the speakers at the event praised the importance of talk, as a way to sort out the differences.

On the other hand, the bishop sustained, that the church plays an important role on the peace-making and unification of the people, transmiting always loving words, that aims the unity, peace and harmony among people, true bond for the development of the societies.
