Oromo: Frustration Grows While Abuses Continue


The Oromo people, the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia, have been facing oppressive and marginalising policy by the Addis Ababa government for decades. While the country is changing rapidly and living a moment of economic boom, the situation of Oromo community is worsening. The frustration of the community over the brutal suppression of peaceful demonstrations, episode of land-grabbing often-related to foreign investments and unfair treatment is documented in a video.
