Ahwazi: DSPA Convenes Fourth Convention in London
On 24-25 October 2015, the Democratic Solidarity Party of Al-Ahwaz (DSPA) held its fourth convention in London, in order to elect new governing positions within the party, including the secretary general. During the convention, the impact of the current situation in the region, as well as of the nuclear deal on Tehran’s policy towards the Ahwazi community was discussed. In particular, concerns that the release of hundreds of billions of dollars as a result of the deal will be used to further oppress non-Persian minorities in Iran, were raised.

DSPA Holds its Fourth Convention from 24-25 October in London 24 October 2015. The democratic Solidarity Party of al-Ahwaz holds its fourth convention from 24-25 October in London. In light of the ongoing situations in the Middle East and the so called P5+1 nuclear agreement with the Iranian regime which among other concessions to the mullah regime, it acknowledges the mini-imperialistic role and the region policeman in addition to the release hundreds of billions of dollars which will be used to further oppress non-Persian minorities, DSPA held its convention to elect a new secretary general, a new executive and political committees and other elements of leadership. The death of Mr. Adnan Salman, DSPA’s secretary general on 6 Sugust of this year has accelerated holding the convention, which is held every 3 years. DSPA is asocial Democratic Party the believes in.
