‘My Goat, My Hope’ in Slovenian Press

Just two days before the end of the “My Goat, My Hope” campaign, Slovenian newspaper Mladina published an article highlighting the initiative’s aim to provide a strategy to halt the social and economic marginalization of the Batwa community in Rwanda.

The project’s simple, but powerful, proposal is to offer goats to Batwan women and their family: a goat can feed a family and enable it to get out of poverty, improve nutrition, have access to health care and an income, and keep their children and in particular their girls in school.

Please consider donating to this campaign to make a positive contribution to the lives of the Batwa. In exchange, you will be able to choose from a range of perks including postcards, tote bags, and CDs from indigenous peoples around the world. Only two days left!
