Kosova may soon get its own international dialing code, which might be 383 or 384. However, this will remain temporary until the country is fully admitted to the United Nations.

The director of the telecommunications regulatory body of Kosovo, Ekrem Hoxha announced that Kosovo could soon get its own international dialing code and that it might be 383 or 384, according to local daily Express. Hoxha said that this would be temporary until obtaining membership of Kosovo in the United Nations. He added that the EU could facilitate the process for submitting a request for one of these two numbers, which are now unused. Hoxha also pointed out that use of the country code of Albania is a possibility, but this is not ideal.
