Crimean Tatars : Discussion With Delegation From Romania


Several important issues were discussed when a delegation of Crimean Tatars from Romania visited the Mejlis Office.

On November 15, 2012 the delegation of Crimean Tatars from Romania after their participation in the round table in the Crimean Engineering Pedagogical University at the chair of Crimean Tatar and Turkish literature, dedicated to the issues of the cooperation between Crimea and Romania, visited the office of Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people where they met with Mejlis members.

 

The meeting was attended by Samir Menan, the First Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Union of Turk-Tatars of Romania Adzhiemin Bavbek, philologist, specialist in Turkic philology, Professor of the University of Bucharest Dzhenan Bolat, Professor, founder of the newspaper “Karadeniz”, (Constantia), Ibraim Nuredin, art critic, Professor of the Ovidius University (Constantia), Shenol Murat, the Head of the branch of the Democratic Union of Turk-Tatars of Romania in Medzhidie town, as well as Mejlis members Zair Smedlyaev, Shevket Qaybullaev, Zevdzhet Qurtumerov, Ali Hamzin and the Head of the Revision Committee of Qurultay of the Crimean Tatar people of the 5th convocation Qurtseyit Abdullaev.

 

The Roman delegation told about the goals and tasks of their visit to Crimea, in particular the studying of the issues, relating to the adoption of the Latin letters in Crimean Tatar language. The parties also discussed the issues, relating to the development of Crimean Tatar is Dobruca and Crimea.
