The decision of the Board of Governors of the EBRD for Kosovo's membership in this institution has been hailed by top leaders of the European Union, Preport reported.

In a joint statement, the European Union's high representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, European Commissioner for Economic Affairs, Olli Rehn, Commissioner for Enlargement, Stefan Fule, praise this success, which secures the successful development of the country.

"We welcome this decision by the Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
