An Amnesty International (AI) delegation will be visiting the Indonesian province of Papua between 19 January and 5 February 2002. The delegation will meet with a wide range of human rights activists, as well as victims of human rights violations, during visits to Jayapura, Manokwari and Wamena. AI also hopes to meet with representatives of the local government, military and police.
