Crimean Tatars: PACE's Turkish Head Says To Continue Mediation Role For Crimean Tatars

President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Mevlut Cavusoglu said PACE would continue to undertake mediation for the solution of the problems of the Crimean Tatars.  
 
A statement issued by the PACE Presidency on Saturday said Cavusoglu paid a two day visit to the Crimean Autonomous Republic in order to contribute to the solution of the problems of the Tatar population through mediation.  
 
Cavusoglu met with prime minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his Special Envoy to the Crimean Autonomous Republic, and Yanukovych's secretary general.  
 
PACE President Cavusoglu, who also met with the Speaker of the Crimean Parliament Mustafa Cemiloglu, welcomed Viktor Yanukovych's signing the protocol on enhancement of the social and economic conditions of the Crimean Tatars.
