UNPO Welcomes Joint Statement

UNPO welcomes the joint statement made by a large number of NGOs proposing the creating of an Indigenous Expert Body (IEB) to replace the Working Group on Indigenous Populations (WGIP). This body would better address the human rights problems of Indigenous Peoples and therefore would greatly impact a number of UNPO Members.
